In the spirit of 2020, let's hit you with everything at once.

For a short time, The Anatomy of Frank's first three albums — Pangaea, North America, and South America — are available for the price of one. Each album includes the classic CD-as-part-of-a-poster design. All signed by Kyle.

Pangaea was The Anatomy of Frank's first album, officially released in 2012. On it, we experimented with tons of stylistic directions that interested us, from banjo pop to gritty prog-pop to post-rock. It's definitely an example of us trying to find our way, but I feel we hit the target in more than one instance. My personal favorites: Saturday Morning, Bill Murray, and Hey Satan! I Know Where You Live.

North America came next. Making this album was the most intense experience of my life and nearly led to nervous breakdowns at a couple points, mostly due to threats of not finishing it by the release date. It encompasses a more expansive sound that sprawls like the continent for which it was named. We also recorded around 15 B-sides that have since been lost. My favorites: A Bridge Over Lake Champlain, Danville's Best & Brightest, and Occupy Anchorage.

South America was the final album featuring the core members of The Anatomy of Frank (though follow Kyle's solo act "Glorious Leader" to hear updates on how the continent saga will continue). Recorded in a friend's farmhouse in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador, the band lived and recorded in the country for over two months. This album featured mostly acoustic instrumentation and lush, intricate orchestration. Overall it is the most natural-feeling album we made and the one I am most proud of. You can hear birds in the background if you listen closely — there was a tropical paradise just outside our windows that we had trouble keeping out of the microphones. Favorite tracks: The Girl from Ipanema, To Keep our Hands from Shaking, and Andes.
